<p>Deze zaterdag waren we uitgenodigd door onze goede vrienden van Volvo om hun 2 nieuwe speeltjes te testen de <strong>Volvo S60</strong> en de <strong>Volvo V60</strong>. We mochten ze niet zomaar een dagje testen. Volvo was zo inventief geweest om 2 Duitse speelkameraadjes mee te nemen namelijk een <strong>BMW 3.16 &amp; Audi A4</strong> zowel in <em>sedan</em> als <em>break variant</em>. Om het plaatje compleet te maken reden we naar <strong>Ford Lommel Proving Ground</strong>. Moesten jullie er nog nooit van gehoord hebben dat kan want het is de geheime testlocatie van Ford Europa. Door alle camouflage heen zagen we toch 2 nieuwe modellen van Ford: <strong>Ford Fiesta Sedan </strong>en een <strong>Ford B-Max </strong>model.</p>

<p>De dag begon aan het <strong>Volvo hoofdkwartier </strong>in Sint-Agatha-Berchem. De auto&#8217;s stonden klaar om de rit te maken richting Lommel. Na het ontbijt kregen we de instructies om met 4 plaats te nemen in auto&#8217;s. Concullega&#8217;s van <strong>Autofans.be</strong> en <strong>Groenlicht.be</strong> namen samen met mij plaats in de  Audi A4 Avant, een basis model zonder opties of leer. Bij iedere checkpoint wisselden we van auto in correcte volgorde: Audi A4 Avant, BMW 3. 16, Volvo V60, Volvo S60 D3, Volvo S60 D5.</p>

<p>Bij de rit waren we aangenaam verrast door de <em>wegligging</em> van de <em>Volvo S60</em>. We kwamen er achter hoe we de <strong>ESP</strong> konden uitzetten en zorgden daardoor voor wat animo aan de rode lichten. Na de wissels kwamen we aan in Lommel Proving Ground.</p>

<p>Voor dat we konden starten moesten we dus onze iPhones/DSLR Camera&#8217;s/ Etc inleveren. Eindelijk mochten we het geheime terrein op. Er was een fotograaf aanwezig die plaatjes mogen we dan wel weer online zetten. Nog groepjes dat verdeeld moesten worden en vlammen maar.</p>

<p><strong>Test 1 </strong>van de <strong>Volvo Naughty Track Days</strong>: Uitwijken met Volvo S60, Audi A4 Avant, BMW 3 Touring</p>
<p>Bij de eerste test mochten we al meteen het gaspedaal tegen de grond duwen. Zoals de proef het voorspelde: &#8220;uitwijken zonder te remmen&#8221;. De Volvo S60 bleek zeker zijn mannetje te staan, de ESP grijpt in maar is ook naar hartelust uit te schakelen. De BMW 3 Touring liet zich uitschijnen als pleziermaker in de bochten. Heerlijk hoe dat je die auto kan laten glijden. Bij de  Audi A4 kan men de ESP uitschakelen maar die grijpt bij iedere lichte vorm van overstuur of onderstuur meteen in.</p>
<p><strong>Test 2</strong> van de<em> </em><strong><span style="font-weight: normal;"><em>Volvo Naughty TestTrack Days</em>: <strong>High Speed Slalom</strong> met Volvo V60, Volvo S60</span></strong></p>
<p><strong><span style="font-weight: normal;">De slalom was opgesteld zodat Volvo kon tonen hoe goed dat de <strong>ESP</strong> werkt ook bij een iets hogere snelheid. De High Speed Slalom werd in 2 keer afgelegd. Een eerste keer tegen 60 km/u en de tweede keer tegen 80 km/u. De Volvo houdt alles in balans. Het enige jammer was dat beide auto&#8217;s een automaat waren. Waardoor men de snelheid niet echt kon inperken met de koppeling.</span></strong></p>
<p><em>Test 3</em> van de Volvo Naughty Test Days: <strong>Uitwijken met remmen</strong> in BMW 3, Volvo S60, Audi A4 Avant.</p>
<p>Een leuke test waar men plots zou moeten remmen en uitwijken. Heerlijk in de 3, we zagen ook dat deze test het minst verliep voor de Audi A4 Avant. Waarschijnlijk omdat deze al iets meer gewicht moet meepakken als break variant. De Volvo S60 scoorde het beste in deze test.</p>
<p>Test 4: <strong>Bergcircuit</strong></p>
<p>Tijdens de veiligheid voorschriften bleek dat we natuurlijk niet volledig voluit mochten gaan. Toch lieten we ons als bloggers niet kennen en gingen voluit in het &#8220;bergachtige&#8221; circuitje. Natuurlijk met traffic op de baan konden we niet voluit gaan. Maar niet getreurd op woensdag 8 juni 2011 krijgen we hem, ja de Volvo S60 voor een hele week in ons handen.</p>

<p>De <em>BMW M3 GTS </em>is niet meer de snelste versie van de BMW M3, <em>BMW Motorsport </em>moet het afleggen tegen de mannen van G-Power met hun <strong>BMW M3 G-Power</strong>. <em>G-Power</em> een vaste waarde als het aankomt op pk&#8217;s persen uit een <em>M3 V8 blok</em>. Geruchten gingen de ronde maar uiteindelijk komt het totaal mooi op <strong>635 pk </strong>en stijg het koppel naar <strong>630 NM</strong>. Heerlijk toch dat ze nog ergens in het V8 blok 185pk hebben gevonden maar dat is natuurlijk te danken aan hun <strong>G-Power Supercharger</strong>.</p>

Traag is hij niet en het feest stopt pas bij 323 km/u. Natuurlijk komt dit niet alleen door het fanatieke motormanagement maar ook serieus wat vermindering van gewicht.</p>

<p>De update van de motor kost je bovenop, een BMW M3 GTS zo&#8217;n slordige € 117.000, G-Power kracht kost extra € 23.500. Dat is wel zonder de installatie van de SK II Supercharger-pakket gerekend. Heerlijke auto maar mag het aub eens in een ander kleurtje..</p>

<p>De<strong> Opel Astra GTC</strong> driedeurs staat al voor de deur en daar kunnen we alleen om juichen. Nochtans zijn we meer fan van het oude model met een karakter dat iets robuuster is. We vinden de nieuwe lijn zoals hij te voorschijn komt op de digitale prints redelijk rond en vrouwelijk. De <em>Opel Astra GTC</em> is natuurlijk, de<strong> coupé versie </strong>van de Opel Astra. De<a title="Opel Astra Sports Tourer" href="http://www.auto-review.org/opel-astra-sports-tourer/"> Opel Astra Grand Tourer</a> die we vorige week reviewden is ook zo&#8217;n versie van de Opel Astra.</p>

<p>De <em>Opel Astra GTC </em>blijft een heerlijk model want waarschijnlijk zal dit een van de betere Opels worden. Het enige jammer is dat ze opnieuw de lijn hebben doorgetrokken van de <em>Opel Insignia</em>. Het is inderdaad hun paradepaardje om nu hun neus overal op te gaan plakken vinden we een beetje te veel van het goeie. We hopen dat er ook een Opel Astra GTC <strong>OPC versie</strong> komt, maar dat is misschien te hoog gegrepen voor Opel.</p>

<p><strong>Porsche</strong> blijft verbazen na de <em>Porsche 911 Black Edition</em> komen ze nu opnieuw met een beperkte oplage van de 911: De<strong> Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0</strong>. Die 4000 km rit zou je eventueel kunnen afwerken in 20u want in ongeveer 12 seconden zit je al aan de 200 km/u.</p>

<p><span id="more-2705"></span>Alles is blijkbaar van carbon fiber in deze <strong>Porsche 911</strong> want er komt een hele gewichtsreductie aan te pas. Het volledige <strong>gewicht</strong> is maar <strong>1360 kg</strong> en dat is als je hem vol met peperdure benzine hebt gestoken. Porsche blijft natuurlijk bij zijn oude gouwe <strong>zescilinderboxer</strong> maar i.p.v. een 3 liter cilinderinhoud hebben ze er een 1 liter extra erbij gestoken. Porsche werkt deze Porsche 911 GR3 RS 4.0 dus af tot in de puntjes. De Pk&#8217;s zijn dan ook mooi afgerond op <strong>500 pk</strong> en een maximum koppel van <strong>460 Nm</strong>.</p>

<p>Ja, weinig gewicht en voldoende PK&#8217;s dat levert dus in ongelooflijke Porsche jammer genoeg worden er maar 600 exemplaren van gebouwd. De attractie van deze Porsche zijn de hernemingen tussen het schakelen. Je knalt dus van 0 naar 100 km/u in slechts 3,9 seconden. Heerlijk toch die beperkte versies van Porsche.</p>

<p>Enkel verkrijgbaar in het <strong>wit</strong>, standaard is er dus ook alles van afgehaald: airco, radio, etc. Deze Porsche 911 GT3 RS 4.0 is dus een Porsche die standaard een racewagen inhoudt. <em>Porsche</em> zetten jullie hem voor de deur af zonder de optionele striping, ik verf hem wel in de traditionele Martini Race Kleuren.</p>

<p>Een heel erg pittig blok zal het moeten worden of eentje waar dat de tuners nog iets mee moeten aanvangen. De vragen die we wel al positief kunnen beantwoorden zijn: Is het <em>rear wheel drive</em>? Ja. Is het een sperdiffirentieel met beperkte slip? Ja. Krijg je dan ook flippers aan het stuur? Ja, maar enkel als je de <em>6 traps automaat</em> besteld. We gokken dus in het totaal op zo&#8217;n <strong>305 pk</strong> maar dan wel op de achterwielen ipv op de vierwielaangedreven Subaru Impreza STI.</p>

<p>Een heerlijke beauty in het zwart in het rood valt de Toyota FT 86 II tegen. Laten we hopen dat hij er komt zoals in het zwart want op de beursvloer hadden ze er al aan geschaafd. Jammer zeg ik dan, jammer.</p>

<p>De <em>Jeep Grand Cherokee</em> is een auto die dat men koopt net zoals een grote Cadillac Escalade. Ze kopen hem dan ook nog eens meestal in een grijze kleur. Foute keuze nevertheless. Maar ben je opzoek naar een super goede off roader dat geen Land Rover Defender is dan is de beste keuze een Jeep Grand Cherokee.</p>

<p>Jeep Grand Cherokee komt terug opnieuw gelukkig met een V6 3,6 liter  die 280 pk levert. Jammer genoeg dat de 5,7 liter HEMI niet de oversteek maakt. Want die motor levert maar liefst 360 pk. Jeep heeft het All terrain systeem van Land Rover afgekeken en nu dus ook in een Jeep Grand Cherokee. Er is ook een dieselversie van 241 pk en verbazingwekkend is het verbruiksgemiddelde maar 8,3 liter per 100 kilometer.</p>
